Beginning School

Early Years Programme (Playgroup & Baby Class)

Building strong foundations for confident learners

At Golf View School, we believe a strong beginning shapes a child’s lifelong learning journey. Our Early Years Programme provides a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where young learners feel valued, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

Through purposeful play and guided learning experiences, children develop early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills. Activities such as storytelling, music, art, outdoor play, and hands-on exploration help learners build curiosity, creativity, and confidence while strengthening their fine and gross motor skills.

Learners are gently introduced to early digital awareness through play-based activities that promote sequencing, pattern recognition, and problem-solving, laying a foundation for future digital literacy.

With the guidance of caring and experienced teachers, learners grow emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. By focusing on holistic development and positive values from the start, we prepare children for a smooth transition into pre-primary learning.

Pre-Primary Programme (PP1 & PP2)

Laying the foundation for structured learning

Our Pre-Primary Programme builds on early childhood experiences by introducing learners to more structured learning within a supportive and engaging environment. Guided by the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), children are encouraged to develop foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, creativity, and problem-solving.

Learning is interactive and hands-on, allowing learners to express themselves, ask questions, and develop confidence in their abilities. Through play-based activities, creative arts, music, physical activities, and guided exploration, children strengthen their independence, collaboration skills, and self-expression.

As part of the CBC, learners begin exploring basic digital literacy and early coding concepts through guided, hands-on activities that build logical thinking, creativity, and confidence.

At Golf View School, we focus on nurturing positive attitudes towards learning while helping learners develop the skills and readiness needed for a successful transition into primary school.

Primary School (Grades 1–6)

Building academic strength and a love for learning

The Primary School programme at Golf View School is designed to nurture confident, curious, and responsible learners. Guided by the CBC, our experienced teachers support each child’s unique abilities, interests, and learning pace while maintaining strong academic standards across all learning areas.

Through a balanced blend of classroom instruction and co-curricular activities, learners develop essential competencies such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. Learning is enriched through practical activities, research, technology integration, creative arts, physical education, and collaborative projects that connect knowledge to real-life experiences.

Digital literacy and coding are integrated into learning to help learners develop computational thinking, problem-solving, and creativity through age-appropriate projects and guided exploration.

Learners deepen their understanding of coding and computational thinking by applying logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to structured projects and real-life challenges.

Junior Secondary School (Grades 7–9)

A time to explore, prepare, and grow

The Junior Secondary School programme at Golf View School supports learners as they transition into greater independence, deeper thinking, and stronger personal identity. At this stage, we focus on equipping students with academic knowledge, life skills, and values that prepare them for senior secondary education and future career pathways.

Learners are encouraged to explore their talents and interests through a rich mix of classroom learning, creative activities, technology, and practical experiences. Opportunities in sports, art, music, drama, leadership, and community engagement help students build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility.

As academic and personal challenges become more complex, learners are guided to develop perseverance, discipline, teamwork, and leadership within a supportive and inclusive environment. By nurturing curiosity and encouraging active participation, we help students grow into confident, adaptable, and purpose-driven young individuals.
